Engie: acquires California group Infinity Renewables
(CercleFinance.com) - Engie North America, a subsidiary of the French energy company, yesterday announced the acquisition of Infinity Renewables, which develops wind farm fields in the region.
The terms of the deal were not specified.
Based in Santa Barbara, California, Infinity Renewables has an asset portfolio that has a total capacity of 8,000 megawatts (MW), which is at different stages of development.
Since its inception in 2008, the target has developed and marketed almost a dozen projects with total capacity of over 1,600 MW, Engie North America said.
Engie intends to retain all of Infinity Renewables' staff.
