APRR: record performance in electric recharging
(CercleFinance.com) - APRR and AREA, the first motorway networks to equip 100% of their service areas with electric charging stations, have achieved record performance, making a major contribution to the decarbonisation of transport.
At end-August 2023, while the number of 100% electric vehicle registrations in France was up 60% y-o-y, APRR and AREA recorded 460,212 cumulative electric recharges, up almost 98% since the summer of 2022.
In August alone, motorists recharged 187,670 times (+89.6% vs. August 2022) to get to their holiday acation destinations. The average charging time was 29 minutes.
