Bureau Veritas: private placement in the US.
(CercleFinance.com) - Bureau Veritas has announced that it has successfully launched a private placement in the US market for 355 million dollars, structured in two tranches.
On 1 September, the first 200 million dollar tranche was raised by the US subsidiary Bureau Veritas Holdings Inc. and the second - for 155 million dollars - will be raised in July 2018 by the parent company Bureau Veritas SA.
With this private placement, the group is taking advantage of attractive market conditions to refinance its dollar debt at a rate of 3.67% (with a premium of 35 basis points to be added for a 12-month deferral), which is equivalent to 1.68% in euros at a fixed rate.
