Amundi: Yves Perrier to step down as chairman

(CercleFinance.com) - Yves Perrier, who has chaired Amundi's board of directors since 2021 and whose term of office is coming to an end, will be replaced by Philippe Brassac, the asset manager announced on Wednesday.

Yves Perrier, who is considered the architect of Amundi's creation in 2009, agreed to take over as chairman of the group's board of directors two years ago in order to help the company through a "transitional" period.

As his term of office is due to end after the general meeting on 12 May, he will be succeeded by Philippe Brassac, who has been Crédit Agricole's chief executive since 2015.

Yves Perrier was CEO from 2010 until 2021, during which time Amundi grew strongly and became the European leader in the asset management industry.
