Orange: agreement with ATC France
(CercleFinance.com) - Orange and ATC France, a subsidiary of American Tower Corporation, announce that they have signed an agreement for the deployment of 900 to 2,000 new sites that are mainly located in rural areas and on transport routes over the period 2020-2024.
"Demand for mobile network infrastructure is showing strong growth, driven both by the additional coverage commitments made by telecoms operators as enshrined in the New Deal in France and by the need to increase the density of their networks," Orange said.
A 20-year reception service contract will enable Orange to use the management and marketing services of ATC France's mobile network infrastructure and ensure that the quality of its services is maintained nationwide.
