Orange: presents its new Engage2025 Plan

(CercleFinance.com) - Orange has presented its new strategic plan for 2025, entitled Engage2025.

This new growth plan is based on four ambitions: reinventing Orange's business as an operator, accelerating in growth regions, placing data and AI at the heart of its innovation model, while together building the business of tomorrow.

In financial terms, Orange targets annual average EBITDAaL growth of between 2% and 3% p.a. over the period 2021-2023, growth in organic Cash Flow of telecom activities between 2020 and 2023, with a target of between 3.5 billion and 4 billion euros in 2023 (against over 2 billion euros in 2019) and a net debt/EBITDAaL ratio of telecom activities of around 2x in the medium term.

Stéphane Richard, Orange's Chairman and CEO, summarised, "The first one is growth. We are going to grow our core business - connectivity - by adding to our competitive edge and by making the most of our network infrastructure. We are also going to foster growth beyond connectivity in Europe thanks to three elements which set us apart from our competitors, namely Africa & the Middle East, B2B IT services and financial services".
