Renault: to create R&D company with Nissan and Mitsubishi?
(CercleFinance.com) - Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi have decided to form a new state-of-the-art R&D company, according to the Japanese news agency Kyodo.
The three groups in the alliance are set to decide how much to invest in this new company. They are expected announce an investment plan in January according to the news agency.
Last week the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance announced that it will appoint a company secretary in the next few days, who will report to the alliance's operational board and general managers.
In addition, board members have agreed on programs to significantly improve and accelerate the operational effectiveness of the alliance, thereby benefiting the three car makers.
