Renault: Alliance's 2018 sales up 1.4%
(CercleFinance.com) - Renault has announced that Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors' cumulative sales are up 1.
4% at 10.76 million units in 2018, representing one in every nine vehicle sales in the world (cars and light commercial vehicles).
The year was marked by strong demand for light commercial vehicles, with Renault Kangoo, Master and Trafic, Nissan Navara and Terra as well as Mitsubishi Triton. Total sales amounted to two million units, up 13.5%.
The car maker also points out that the cumulative sales of electric vehicles are up 34% relative to last year, for a total of 725,000 electric vehicles sold since 2010.
