Eramet: makes E37m loss, with E101m tax charge
(CercleFinance.com) - Eramet's H1 2019 sales are flat at 1,809 million euros and up 8% LFL.
The global mining and metallurgical group has reported underlying operating profit of 169 million euros, while it made a pre-tax loss of 90 million euros, with a net loss, group share of 37 million euros, impacted by a tax charge of 101 million euros, stable compared to last year.
"Over the year, record manganese ore production and nickel ore exports, as well as related productivity gains, should significantly improve the Group's intrinsic performance," management said.
"Forecast EBITDA for H2 should be significantly above that of H1, nonetheless leading to full year EBITDA below that of 2018".
