BNP Paribas: S&P upgrades credit rating
(CercleFinance.com) - S&P Global Ratings said on Friday evening that it has upgraded its long-term issuer rating for BNP Paribas, as well as most of its core banking entities, from "A" to "A+", with a "stable" outlook and a short-term issuer rating, which it maintains at "A-1".
Since 2017, BNP Paribas has quickly committed to the forming a releasable debt cushion, the US rating agency appreciated, which expects the bank to continue to act to meet requirements in terms of its capacity to absorb debts.
