Publicis: organic 5.6% fall in net quarterly revenue
(CercleFinance.com) - Publicis group unveils net revenues of 2,343 million euros for the third quarter of 2020, down 9.
1% with a negative impact from currencies. Organically, they are down 5.6%, which constitutes performance above advertising expenditure forecasts.
The communications group warns that “with the current resurgence of the pandemic and the restrictions imposed, we have to be cautious about Q4, which might be impacted further and come below Q3”.
“In parallel, the Group's cost management gives confidence in delivering its cost reduction plan, and as a result an operating margin rate slightly ahead of current analyst consensus of 14.3% for 2020” it adds.
