Eiffage: APRR launches connected rest area on motorway
(CercleFinance.com) - Eiffage announced late on Friday that its subsidiary APRR has launched the Aire Lab on the motorway rest area of Jugy on the A6, which it says is an experiment for connected innovations, serving both clients, improving safety, as well as contributing to maintenance and the environment.
The first phase of tests, conducted in partnership with Eiffage Énergie Systèmes, concerns connected things that are intended to improve customer service: safety for pedestrians, with passages that light up at night when people walk by, improved vehicle mobility with guided parking via dynamic parking, cleanliness of areas with new generation ashtrays, optimised cleaning of WC facilities and waste collection, the group said.
