Eiffage: new 5 Star Hotel at former Samaritaine
(CercleFinance.com) - Pradeau Morin, a subsidiary of Eiffage, is restructuring the former luxury Samaritaine store located on Boulevard des Capucines into a 5-star hotel.
The cabinet B&B architects has been appointed as prime contractor for the operation. The hotel is expected to be opened to the public sometime in 2020.
The future 5-Star hotel, which will have a surface area of 12,000 m2, will have 149 bedrooms and suites, including a presidential suite, a fitness spa with a swimming pool, a conference centre and a multi-purpose function room, a restaurant/bar overlooking a vegetated courtyard, a rooftop bar that will offer a panoramic view of the Opera district and finally 49 parking spaces.
Work has been ongoing since March 2018 for a major revamping of the three buildings, retaining Frantz Jourdain's art nouveau facade, which is listed as an historical monument.
