Eiffage: Q1 sales up

(CercleFinance.com) - After trading on Monday Eiffage unveiled Q1 2018 sales that were up 6.
3% at 3.4 billion euros, vs. 3.2 billion euros a year ago.

The "infrastructure" division posted the strongest growth (+4.6% like-for-like), from 936 million euros, at 1.017 billion euros. The "Energy systems" division's sales reached 897 million euros (+4.1% like-for-like). Meanwhile, sales at Eiffage's "Construction" division reached 799 million euros, compared to 796 million euros in Q1 2017 (+0.4% like-for-like).

With a strong order backlog and upbeat motorway traffic, Eiffage confirms its outlook for 2018. The backlog for Construction amounted to 14.1 billion euros at 31 March 2018, up 23% y-o-y (+17% over 3 months), which represents 13.6 months activity at these divisions. The group's real estate backlog reached 0.6 billion euros (+2% y-o-y), while that of Concessions was 1.1 billion euros (unchanged y-o-y, Eiffage specified.
