Vivendi: posts a billion euro loss
(CercleFinance.com) - Vivendi has announced revenues of 9,595 million euros for FY 2022, up 5.
1% LFL compared to 2021.
Business was mainly driven by the performance of Havas (+E424M), the growth of Canal+ Group (+E100m) and the very strong growth of Gameloft (+E56m).
At the same time, the Group's EBITDA was up 24.6% LFL to 868 million euros.
Nevertheless, net income, group share showed a loss of EUR 1,010 million (-E0.98 per basic share), compared with a profit of 24,692 million euros in 2021 (E22.94 per basic share), which is largely due to the gain on the deconsolidation of 70% of UMG.
