Vivendi: lodges application to participate in Mediaset's EGM
(CercleFinance.com) - Vivendi says that it has lodged an application for interim measures to guarantee its right to participate in Mediaset's extraordinary general meeting of 4 September, and to vote as a shareholder (representing the equivalent of 9.

This request follows the Mediaset's board decision, having refused the French conglomerate the right to vote at its last general meeting on 18 April.
On 4 September, Vivendi intends to vote against Mediaset's proposed merger with Media for Europe (MFE), after assessing the rights that minority shareholders, in particular Vivendi, would be unduly deprived of under MFE's proposed articles.
