Casino: first sale of stores to Les Mousquetaires
(CercleFinance.com) - Pursuant to the agreement signed on 26 May, Casino has completed the sale of the first wave of 61 stores to Groupement les Mousquetaires, based on an enterprise value of E209m including service stations.
Both retail groups have also extended their purchasing cooperation to include private-label food products, and signed a supply agreement with Groupement les Mousquetaires' seafood and butchery sectors.
As a result, Casino has received the purchase price and Groupement les Mousquetaires has already taken possession of 58 of the 61 sales outlets sold. They will be transferred to the Intermarché or Netto banners in October.
