Casino: pens collaboration agreement with IBM Services
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday Casino and IBM Services announced a collaboration agreement in order to, "meet the challenges of food retail and offer a secure, customised and better Customer experience in France.
Casino's IT maintenance activity, which is currently carried out by its subsidiary SERCA, will integrate the expertise of IBM Services around major types of services: maintenance in operational condition and 'DIMAC' (Distribute, Install, implement, Add and Change equipment) to ensure the development and operation of IT equipment and systems. These services will be carried out in France in particular so that each in-store purchase can be done quickly and easily, the companies said.
This collaboration will begin in the second half of 2020.
