Vinci: signs contract for Nairobi - Nakuru motorway
(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci has signed an agreement with the Republic of Kenya, through its Public Private Partnership Unit and the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA).
The contract covers the development of the Nairobi - Nakuru - Mau Summit motorway project. It is worth approximately 1.3 billion euros. The project consists of transforming the existing main road into a 2x2 lane motorway over 175 kilometres.
Rift Valley Highway, a subsidiary of Vinci Highways, will design, finance, widen, renovate, operate and maintain the new motorway for 30 years.
