Vinci: Eurovia makes acquisition in US
(CercleFinance.com) - Eurovia, a Vinci subsidiary, has announced an agreement with Salini Impregilo to acquire the industrial activities and road works businesses (Plants and Paving) of its subsidiary Lane Construction for a total of 555 million dollars.
This business generates sales of over 600 million dollars per year, in 10 States, on the east coast of the United States and Texas. It has about 40 asphalt plants and operates at several quarries.
Thanks to this acquisition, which remains subject to the approval from US authorities, Eurovia will become one of the leaders in road works on the east coast of the US, with total sales of about 1.2 billion dollars.
