Vinci: recap on Notre-Dame-des-Landes case
(CercleFinance.com) - Now that the "Grand Ouest" airport project of Notre-Dame-des-Landes has been abandoned, what will happen to the group that was supposed to build it, Vinci group? The weekly magazine Challenges understands that the compensation will only be very limited, although Vinci retorts that discussions have not even begun yet.
Until then, the amount of compensation was estimated at around 500 million euros, Challenges says. Although according to it, quoting the opinion issued in late April by the Council of State, this could be around twenty million euros.
Vinci responds to this in these terms: It is not true that such amounts are currently discussed between the State and the concessions operator. No financial discussion has been initiated, it said.
