Capgemini: contract with Norwegian group Yara
(CercleFinance.com) - Capgemini has announced the signature of a multi-year contract worth several tens of millions of euros with Yara, one of the world leaders in fertilizer manufacturing, which is based in Oslo and present in over 60 countries and which has a workforce of over 16,000 people.
The IT giant will provide Yara with a set of services, such as managing all of its applications in SharePoint and SAP environment, application development and operation, and managed hosting services.
Capgemini will deploy a hybrid cloud strategy based on a state-of-the-art private cloud and the Microsoft Azure public cloud. This new solution will enable Yara not only to reduce its costs, but also accelerate the marketing of its products.
