Plastic Omnium: H1 loss of E404m
(CercleFinance.com) - Plastic Omnium's H1 2020 economic sales reached 3,233 million euros, down 29.
9% y-o-y (-29.5% at constant scope and exchange rates).
Meanwhile, consolidated sales came in at 2,962 million euros over the period, down 30.6% (-30.3% LFL).
H1 2020 EBITDA amounted to 171 million euros (i.e. 5.8% of consolidated sales), compared to 511 million euros and 12% of consolidated sales in H1 2019.
At 30 June 2020, net income (group share), excluding asset impairment net of tax, reached -179 million euros. After these impairments, it was -404 million euros.
For FY 2020, it expects to outperform the market by at least 5 points, with EBITDA of over 8% of consolidated sales and a positive operating margin.
