Dassault Aviation: new order for Rafale in India?
(CercleFinance.com) - The group is in talks with the Indian Air Force for the sale of additional Rafale aircraft by 2020, Les Echos announced this morning.
This would be for the sale of another 36 planes. However, Dassault's CEO, Eric Trappier said that for now nothing had been finalised and that he is currently discussing with the Indian Air Force Les Echos states.
The Minister of the Armies, Florence Parly, will visit India at the end of the week with a large delegation from the defense sector. Emmanuel Macron also plans to make a visit in December.
Remember that Dassault Aviation has already registered an order for 36 Rafale in 2016, following the signing and entry into force of the contract with India.
