Essilor: first AGM for EssilorLuxottica on 25 July
(CercleFinance.com) - Essilor has announced convening the first AGM of EssilorLuxottica on 25 July, without waiting for its merger to be actually finalised with Luxottica, which is due to occur in the next few weeks.
At this meeting, the ophthalmic lens specialist wants to present resolutions that would enable it to acquire the means necessary for its development projects, and this as soon as possible after the merger is completed.
This meeting assumes that the merger has already been completed beforehand. If it were to occur too late, another meeting would be held as soon as possible thereafter on the same agenda.
