Peugeot: suspends operations in Iran
(CercleFinance.com) - The French car maker has begun the process of suspending the operations of its joint ventures in Iran, in order to comply with American law by 6 August 2018.
Backed by the French government, PSA group is in contact with the US authorities to consider a waiver.
Note that PSA group's operations in Iran represent under 1% of its total sales, so this will not significantly change the overall targets of the Push to Pass plan, nor its current financial guidelines, the group said.
