Peugeot: creates business unit for electric vehicles
(CercleFinance.com) - PSA Group has announced the creation of a Business Unit dedicated to electrified vehicles as from 1 April.
The creation of the "Low Emission Vehicles" Business Unit meets the group's aims to develop an electrified offer for 100% of its offer by 2025, with an implementation in 2019.
“Groupe PSA aims to offer a differentiated customer experience that creates value and fosters ties with the Group, its five car brands, Peugeot, Citroën, DS and Opel/Vauxhall, and its Free2move mobility brand,” it said.
Linda Jackson, Chief Executive Officer of Citroën, to whom the BU will report, said: “The energy transition is an opportunity that our company has seized by launching an unprecedented technological offensive made possible by our multi-energy platforms.”
