PSA: signs license agreement with AISIN AW
(CercleFinance.com) - The PSA Group has signed a license agreement with AISIN AW to produce automatic gearboxes in France, which hitherto were imported from Japan.
This contract meets the growing demand for automatic gearboxes.
The performance of the Valenciennes site has enabled PSA Group to invest in a new machining and assembly workshop to produce these six-speed EAT6 automatic gearboxes, which equip the Peugeot, Citroën, and DS ranges, as well as Opel and Vauxhall models produced on the Group's platforms.
