Kering: H1 net income down 30%

(CercleFinance.com) - Kering has reported H1 2020 sales of 5,378.
3 million euros, down 29.6% as reported and -30.1% LFL.

Gucci's sales reached 3,072.2 million euros (-33.5% as reported and -33.8% LFL). Meanwhile, Yves Saint Laurent's sales were 681.1 million euros, down 30.0% as reported and -30.6% LFL.

H1 2020 EBITDA reached 1,675.0 million euros, down 40.4% y-o-y.

Net income, group share reached 272.6 million euros (-53% compared with last year), i.e. 2.18 euros per share over H1.

"The lack of visibility about how the worldwide personal luxury goods market will evolve in the next few months makes it impossible to forecast the Group's second-half sales with any sufficient degree of reliability. However, the loss in revenue experienced in the first six months of the year should not be offset in the second half," the group said.
