Thales: unveils SYNAPS tactical software
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales has presented its SYNAPS new broadband tactical software-defined radio family to the Spanish armed forces, the Directorate General of Armament and Material (DGAM) and the Ministry of Defence.
This range of radios will provide high-performance radio communications on board the new VCR 8x8 Dragón armoured vehicles which equip the Spanish armed forces.
Thales said that this family of software-defined radio marks a major step forward in terms of digital transformation and constitutes a major technological development opportunity for industry.
