Thales: signs agreement with CLS and CNES
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales Alenia Space (67%-owned by Thales and 33%-owned by Leonardo) has announced that it has been selected by CLS and CNES to develop the Kineis nanosatellite constellation for connected objects.
This agreement has been signed before the opening of the World Satellite Business Week, which is being held in Paris from 10 to 14 September.
In March 2018, Thales Alenia Space announced that it had acquired a stake in the US company Spaceflight Industries for the manufacture of small, high-performance, low-cost satellites.
At the same time, Thales Alenia Space already offers the most flexible very high throughput satellite (VHTS; Very High Throughput Satellite) system (ground and space segments), perfectly suited to increasing operator demand for greater flexibility.
