Thales: new appointment on board
(CercleFinance.com) - On a proposal from the public sector, on Tuesday it was announced that Thales' Board of Directors co-opted Bernard Fontana, Chairman of Framatome's Board of Directors (formerly Areva NP), as a director to succeed Laurent Collet-Billon.
His term of office runs until the end of the ordinary general meeting ruling on the accounts for 2020. Bernard Fontana has also been appointed a member of the group's accounts and audit committee.
Bernard Fontana began his career in 1987 as an armament engineer at the SNPE (formerly national powders and explosives corporation), where he held various positions, including director of fine chemicals, the strategy for the Chemistry business in North. He was also formerly CEO of Holcim.
