Michelin: confirms FY 2019 targets
(CercleFinance.com) - Released on Thursday evening, Michelin's H1 2019 sales amounted to 11.
781 billion euros at 30 June, against 10.603 billion euros in H1 2018.
The group's operating profit thus stood at 1.348 billion euros, flat compared to H1 2018. Net profit came in at 844 million euros, compared with 917 million in H1 2018.
For FY 2019, Michelin has also confirmed its volume growth targets, which are in line with the global market trend, with segment operating income exceeding that of 2018 excluding FX factors (beyond the additional contribution of Camso and Fenner), and the generation of structural free cash flow of over 1.45 billion euros.
