Michelin: confirms targets for 2018
(CercleFinance.com) - Q1 2018 net sales reached 5,218 million euros, down 6.
3% compared to the same period of 2017.
In the Automobile and Associated Distribution business, net sales amounted to 2,772 million euros, down 9.3% compared to 3,056 million euros for the same period of 2017.
In a slightly weaker market, the Truck business was down 4%, mainly due to a very unfavourable comparison basis in Q1 2017 (+3%).
Net sales for Specialty activities amounted to 1,078 million euros, up 5.5% compared to 1,022 million euros at the end of March 2017.
