Sodexo: agreement for acquisition of Centerplate.
(CercleFinance.com) - Sodexo and Olympus Partners have announced the signature of an agreement for the acquisition of Centerplate Inc, the fourth largest player in the sports and leisure market in terms of sales, for 675 million dollars.
This company provides catering and hospitality services that are found in sports facilities, convention centers and entertainment venues in the United States, the UK, Canada and Spain. It has FY turnover of 998 million dollars.
This acquisition, which is expected to make a slight contribution to Sodexo's earnings in 2017-2018, will require standard regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed by the end of 2017.
