Faurecia: operating margin flat in H1
(CercleFinance.com) - Faurecia has published H1 2019 net income group share that is up 1% at 346 million euros, with a stable operating margin of 7.
2% (7.3% excluding Clarion), which it says is thanks to structural initiatives and increased agility.
At 8,972 million euros, the automotive supplier's sales stagnated in reported terms (-0.2%) and fell by 2.8% at constant currencies and excluding Clarion. However, they outperformed global automotive production by 420 basis points over the period.
The group has confirmed its full-year targets, including an outperformance of 150 bp to 350 bp in sales growth at constant currencies (excluding the consolidation of Clarion) and an operating margin of at least 7% (including Clarion as of 1 April).
