LVMH: Moët Hennessy inaugurates new Research Center
(CercleFinance.com) - LVMH has announced that Moët Hennessy (champagnes, spirits and exceptional wines) has inaugurated the Robert-Jean de Vogüé Research Center, which is dedicated to deepening knowledge and developing wine-growing practices.
With this new Center, the Moët and Hennessy R&D ecosystem is equipped with an additional tool to understand and anticipate present and future environmental and industrial challenges.
Its activities will focus on four research areas to foster innovation, namely microbiology and biotechnology to analyse microorganisms and understand their impact on vineyards; plant physiology to meet the challenges of climate change; process engineering to optimise production and recyclability; and sensory analysis and formulation to study the sensory profile of products at different stages of production.
