Imerys: sale to Syntagma capital 'highly unlikely'
(CercleFinance.com) - Imerys announces that the sale of its assets dedicated to the paper market to Syntagma Capital is now "highly unlikely".
In view of these circumstances, Imerys reserves the right to formally assert its rights against Syntagma Capital.
At the end of 2022, the Group signed a firm commitment with Syntagma Capital to sell most of its paper assets - they represented under 10% of sales last year.
Imerys will continue to focus on its high-growth specialty minerals activities and explore various options for the disposal of this business. For the time being, it will continue to manage it in the interests of the group, its employees and customers.
