Imerys: acquisition in refractories solutions in India
(CercleFinance.com) - Imerys has announced an agreement for the acquisition of the leading Indian producer of calcium silicate boards for thermal insulation projects for industries such as cement, metallurgy, refinery, petro-chemical and power plants.
The French mineral specialties group specifies that this business, which has 50 employees, generated sales of five million euro in 2019, and will be consolidated in its high temperature Solutions division (Calderys).
"With this deal, Imerys, World #1 in high-performance calcium aluminate-based binders, alumino-silicate minerals, and alumina based monolithics for refractories, is extending its solutions offering in the attractive fast growing Indian market," the group said.
