Pernod Ricard: FY underlying OP up over 9%

(CercleFinance.com) - Pernod Ricard has published FY 2018-19 net income, group share that is down 8% at 1,455 million euros, while underlying operating profit is up 9.
5% at 2,581 million euros, with organic growth of 8.7%, the highest since 2011-12.

The French wine and spirits giant's sales came in at 9,182 million euros, with organic growth of +6% (+5.3% in nominal terms), thanks to the continued development of Must-win markets the group said (United States, China, India).

In FY 2019-20 the group says it is continuing to implement its "Transform & Accelerate" plan. In a particularly uncertain environment, it targets 2019-20 organic growth in underlying operating profit of between 5% and 7%, said Chairman and CEO Alexandre Ricard.
