Danone: organic growth accelerates in Q1
(CercleFinance.com) - Danone has started 2018 with like-for-like sales growth of almost 5%, outperforming the consensus, which was only expecting about 4%.

In Q1, the French dairy products giant recorded consolidated turnover of 6.1 billion euros, up 10.8% as reported, mainly due to the integration of WhiteWave.
This rate reached 4.9% "in New Danone comparable data," reflecting an acceleration compared to 2017 (+2.5%), and relative to Q4 (+3.7%). According to management, this dynamic quarterly performance (reflects the) positive contribution from increased volumes and higher value, which were respectively +1.1% and +3.8%.
