Bouygues: acquisition of AW Edwards finalised
(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues Construction announces that it has completed the closing of the acquisition of all AW Edwards Pty Limited's shares, and will thereby continue its development strategy in Australia, strengthening its position in the construction market.
Founded in 1921 and headquartered in Sydney, Austin William Edwards is specialised in the building sector. In 2017, its sales reached 277 million Australian dollars and the group has 250 employees.
Established in Australia for nearly 50 years with its subsidiary VSL, Bouygues Construction is currently building the new Sydney NorthConnex motorway connection, the Melbourne Metro, as well as several solar parks in New South Wales and Queensland.
