AccorHotels: finalises acquisition of Mövenpick
(CercleFinance.com) - Accorhotels has announced that on 3 September it finalised the acquisition of Mövenpick Hotels & resorts from Mövenpick Holding and Kingdom Holding, thus reinforcing the French hotel chain's presence in Europe and the Middle East.
As a reminder, this transaction was announced at the end of April this year for 560 million Swiss francs. Mövenpick is present in 27 countries and has 84 hotels (over 20,000 rooms), with a particularly strong presence in Europe and the Middle East.
