TotalEnergies: partnership in offshore wind project
(CercleFinance.com) - TotalEnergies announces that it has teamed up with Corio Generation and Rise Light & Power to jointly develop the Attentive Energy offshore wind project, located off the coasts of New York and New Jersey in the US.
In exchange for $420m, it is transferring a 27.7% stake in the project to Corio and a 16.3% stake to Rise. Rise will also contribute its interconnection assets and capacities in New York City to the project.
Attentive Energy aims to develop over 3 GW of offshore wind power around 90 kilometres off the coast of New York and 70 kilometres off the coast of New Jersey. Once completed, the project will provide green electricity to over a million homes in these two states.
