TotalEnergies: R&D Centre inaugurated for ACC
(CercleFinance.com) - Automotive Cells Company (ACC), a joint venture between TotalEnergies, Stellantis and Mercedes-Benz, has announced that today, Tuesday 28 September, its research and development (R&D) centre will be inaugurated in Bruges, near Bordeaux.
Representing an initial investment of 30 million euros, and actively supported by national and regional authorities, this centre will enable the development and production of the first ACC prototypes of battery cells and modules.
Over 300 technicians and managers are working in this innovative centre of expertise and excellence, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, with another 150 set to work there by the end of the year.
