Total: two agreements with Sonatrach
(CercleFinance.com) - So as to strengthen their cooperation in natural gas and petrochemicals, Total said on Sunday evening that it has signed two new agreements with the Algerian group Sonatrach as part of their global partnership announced in 2017.
They have thus concluded a new concession contract for the joint development of the Erg Issaouane gas field on the south TFT licence, south of the Tin Fouyé Tabankort (TFT) field, of which Total is the historical partner.
Both energy groups have also signed a shareholder agreement to create the joint venture STEP (Sonatrach Total Entreprise Polymers), which will be in charge of carrying out the joint petrochemical project in Arzew, in western Algeria.
