Total: agreement with Ecoslops for La Mède site.
(CercleFinance.com) - Total and Ecoslops have announced the signature of an agreement to establish a regeneration unit for the hydrocarbon residues from maritime transport at Total's facility in La Mède (Bouches-du-Rhône).
Ecoslops will build and operate the micro-refining unit on site. Total will provide services and provide the necessary utilities for the unit's operation.
François Bourrasse, director of Total's La Mède platform, said that the construction of this oil residue regeneration unit confirms the appeal of facilities at La Mède and those of the region.
