Carrefour: Q3 sales inch up 0.8% LFL
(CercleFinance.com) - Yesterday evening the French food retail giant Carrefour published Q3 sales of 20.
46 billion euros, up 0.8% on a comparable basis (or +4% as reported), compared to Q3 2020.
On a comparable basis, sales fell in Asia (-5.2%), Europe (-1.2%) and France (-0.3%), although were driven by the dynamic market in Latin America (+7.3%).
Carrefour underlines the strength of food e-commerce sales with growth of +19% in the Q3, or +100% over 2 years.
