JCDecaux: new contract with Sonae Sierra in Portugal
(CercleFinance.com) - Yesterday JCDecaux announced that its subsidiary JCDecaux Portugal has renewed its contract with Sonae Sierra, the leading manager and operator of shopping centres in Portugal and the Autonomous Regions of Madeira and the Azores, for another 10 years.
Over 20 years after winning the first contract in 1999, JCDecaux is now offering 100% digital coverage inside 17 Sonae Sierra shopping centres, thanks to the installation of 231 screens.
The screens under this new contract have been progressively deployed over the last few months and will be integrated into JCDecaux Portugal's programmatic offer in 2023.
The ad screens' lights seem to be blinking this afternoon, however, with the share currently down over 1%, underperforming the timidly positive Parisian market by 2%.
