JCDecaux: makes loss in H1
(CercleFinance.com) - JCDecaux has reported a net loss, group share of 254.
9 million euros for the first six months of 2020, compared with a profit of 96 million euros a year ago, along with an adjusted operating margin of -5.7% of revenue, i.e. 22.3 points lower than last year.
Adjusted revenues fell by 41.6% to 1,075.4 million euros (-40.8% in organic terms), with adjusted organic advertising revenues, excluding revenues related to the sale, rental and maintenance of street furniture and media assets, down 42.4%.
"Considering the risk of new waves of Covid-19 and new local lockdowns being implemented, it remains very difficult to give a guidance for Q3 2020," warned Jean-Charles Decaux, group chairman.
